Sue Kennard

I began my regular practice of yoga in 2012 and crossed paths with Lisa Boldin in 2015. Attending her trauma sensitive yoga class was a turning point in my healing process. It allowed me to rebuild the connection between my mind and body so I could begin to feel comfortable in my own skin again.

As I shared my journey with friends and loved ones, I realized the impact yoga had on my healing and felt called to help others on their own paths to recovery. I completed YogaLife Institute's 200-hour Classical Yoga Teacher Training Program in July 2017 and plan to become a certified facilitator of trauma-sensitive yoga.

Because yoga was and is such an important part of my personal life experience, I am driven to pay it forward. If funds are the only thing holding you back, come to class. If you are shy and nervous, I’ll come to you. Yoga has been such a gift to me, it would be an honor to share it with you.
